It has been through my own positive experience with body work, that I have been drawn to Massage, Bowen-Technique and Reiki.
Training in Swedish massage opened the door into deeper exploration with the Bowen-Technique. This very gentle modality constantly surprises me. Through Bowen, I have had the opportunity to work with new born babies and with the very elderly, a very humbling experience. Bowen constantly reminds me of the importance of mind-body connection, and the power the body has to heal itself.
With all the modalities I practice, what is clear is that the body needs to be treated as a whole, and it's balance maintained physically, mentally and spiritually.
